Final reminder: Signing of Belfast Declaration still open

At the conference in October, political leaders from across the world signed the Belfast Declaration, which renewed their commitment to the Healthy Cities movement. The Declaration also sets out priorities for action in Phase IV, and will act as the platform for the movement over the next five years. The Declaration is still open for signing, and the conference arrangers would welcome as many signatures as possible.

The Declaration can be endorsed by a political representative of a city adhering to the principles of a Healthy City, or a representative of a national Ministry or Department authorised to do so by the relevant minister or official. Unofficially, individuals can also endorse the Declaration.
