2009 Annual General Meeting

The 2009 Annual General Meeting took place on Wednesday 16 December in Clifton House, Belfast. The meeting presented an opportunity to look back on the successes of the past year including the Belfast Healthy Cities 21^st Anniversary celebration which took place in October 2009. It also highlighted WHO’s invitation to the office to become the lead secretariat for the WHO European Healthy Cities Network.  Full details of all events and work programmes from the past year are available in the 2008/2009 Annual Report which was adopted at the meeting.

Following the meeting Dr Bernadette Cullen, Chair presented certificates to the participants of the ‘Healthy Environments: Healthy Lives’ Training Programme which ran from March to June 2009.
