PARTNERSHIP MAPPING EXERCISE

FOR THE BELFAST AREA

The work of the Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership (CYPSP) is carried out in the Belfast area by the Belfast Outcomes Group. The aim of the work is to improve the 6 outcomes for children and young people by putting in place arrangements for integrated planning.  The 6 outcomes are our common vision and their achievement our common purpose.  Everyone from government to local communities; to parents and children and young people themselves has a role to play in helping to reach these goals.

The Group have asked Belfast Healthy Cities to support the mapping of existing partnerships in the area who are already contributing to the high level outcomes. Belfast Healthy Cities is leading work on Health Equity in All Policies (HEiAP).  HEiAP is a policy mechanism that can help organisations achieve their objectives in a way that also addresses inequalities in health. More about HEiAP

This information will be used by the Belfast Outcomes Group to begin to link with and support existing partnerships, to inform the Belfast Action Plan and also to inform the work of the CYPSP and the Northern Ireland Children and Young People’s Plan.
