Belfast Healthy Cities was a key informant in a recently published academic study of Healthy Cities, local environmental action and climate change.

The study, by scholar Michael Bentley at Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia, and published in the journal Health Promotion International, looks at how the Healthy Cities approach can contribute to tackling climate change. It is based on a literature review and interviews with Belfast Healthy Cities and an Australian Healthy Cities programme.
