KidsSpace at Culture Night Belfast Buoys Park

KidsSpace Culture Night

KidsSpace returns once again to Culture Night Belfast on Friday 19 September. This year the fun returns to Buoys Park, York Street, beginning at 4pm.

Since 2011, KidsSpace events have transformed city spaces including St Anne’s Square, Buoys Park, Writers Square, Belfast City Hall, Urban Soul Cafe and an unused unit in Castle Court Shopping Centre into welcoming spaces for families and children.

The event consists of 3 main themes:

  • Creative Space – facilitated by community artists
  • Active Space – facilitated by sports/dance coaches
  • Free Space – where children are encouraged to play and use the space freely, using large play equipment and games such as giant Connect 4 and Jenga

Each event has been extremely successful with over 1000 children and parents taking part. Views and feedback have been collected through art based evaluation exercises, highlighting the increasing demand for family activity in Belfast City Centre. You can tell us what you think using #KidsSpace.

It's all free, so come along and join in!
