Planning My City Event 28 - 31 October - Ulster Museum Belfast

Belfast Healthy Cities would like to welcome children and their parents to a ‘Planning my City’ Event. The event will be hosted by the Ulster Museum in the Discover Arts Zone and will run over four days from Tuesday 28 – Friday 31 October from 10am to 4pm each day.

The focus of the event will be facilitated workshops where children will work in groups using a miniature model to plan and create a city from their own perspective.  Four workshops will be facilitated each day.

Other activities will feature including paper bag houses, a photo wall and Lego workshops facilitated by Bricks 4 Kidz.

‘Planning my City’ forms part of the RTPI’s centenary programme of events and is a partnership project between Belfast Healthy Cities, Queens University, Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and University of Ulster whose Architecture students designed and developed the miniature model.
