Photo Gallery: Designing Healthier Spaces for Children – A Roundtable Event at Stormont

Belfast Healthy Cities hosted Designing Healthier Spaces for Children at the Long Gallery, Stormont – an exciting roundtable event bringing together policymakers, educators, community partners, and, most importantly, children.

The discussion explored how Belfast can create greener, safer, and more inclusive environments for young people, showcasing the success of the Healthy Places, Healthy Children programme and hearing directly from pupils about their School Charters for a healthier city.

With contributions from MLAs, the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People, and international experts, the event celebrated collaboration, innovation, and the power of children’s voices in shaping the future of our city.
